Greenwood Speech-Language Center

Conveniently located for South Metro Denver, nearby mountain and Eastern plains towns, and Colorado Springs residents on the southern edge of Greenwood Village and Greenwood Plaza, the Greenwood Speech-Language Center was opened in January, 2000.

Darrell Dodge, M.A., CCC-SLP is Dr. Peter Ramig's Associate at the GSLC. Mr. Dodge received his speech pathology training at CU-Boulder and has provided stuttering, cluttering, language, and articulation therapy at the center for over four years.  A member of the American Speech-Language- Hearing Association and its Special Interest Division 4 (Fluency and Fluency Disorders), Mr. Dodge is a recovering stutterer who has had personal experience from the client's perspective with many types of stuttering therapy. His Web site, The Veils of Stuttering offers information on the etiology and development of stuttering, as well as practical information for people who stutter, parents, and speech clinicians.

The center has a large child treatment room designed for children 2 years to 10 years of age, an adolescent and adult treatment room, video and audio taping facilities, and a comfortable waiting room with mountain views, books and magazines, and lots of toys for siblings.

There are plenty of therapy transfer opportunities nearby in the shops and restaurants along Arapahoe Avenue. Parents accompanying their children to summer intensive therapy sessions will find many family lodging facilities in the area, including a Marriott Courtyard, and lots of local recreation activities..

The center is located in Building 6, Suite 400 of the Greenwood Executive Park (6436 S. Quebec Street)  and always has free parking right at the door. The future I-25 corridor light rail line is within convenient walking distance.

From the North, take I-25 South to the Orchard Road exit. Turn right (West) on Orchard to S. Quebec and turn left. Continue South down Quebec past Calley to the exit lane for the Greenwood Executive Park. Keep to the left once in the office complex. If you go past the complex to Peakview, just turn left and then take the first left to enter the office park.

From the West, take C-470 to the Quebec Street exit. Head North on Quebec, past Arapahoe Road to Peakview. Turn right on Peakview and make the first left into the Greenwood Executive Park complex. Bear to the right and then to the left.

From the South, take I-25 to the Arapahoe Road exit. Go West (left) on Arapahoe Road to Quebec Street. Turn right (North) on Quebec and drive one block to Peakview. Turn right on Peakview and make the first left into the Greenwood Executive Park complex. Bear to the right and then to the left.

From the Northeast, take I-225 to I-25 and follow the directions for the North (above).

From the Plains East of I-25, take Arapahoe Road to Quebec. Turn right on Quebec and continue North up the hill to Peakview. Turn right on Peakview, then take the first left into the Greenwood Executive Park

Within the Greenwood Executive Park, Building 6 is in the Northeastern corner of the complex. Park near the kiosk with the building number on it. The clinic is in Suite 400 at the top of the stairs.
